Our boy is healing... slowly but surely.
I would tend to forget sometimes that he has was in a cast. He gets along pretty well with it.

The first two weeks were no doubt the hardest - emotional mostly.
He wondered, worried if he would heal 'like normal' and be able to play sports again?
All of these fears and concerns were laid to rest once he laid his eyes on this beauty:

None other than Tim Tebow being awarded The HEISMAN
*see the cast - it was even blue
The weeks rolled along and he finally got a smaller cast.
He stuck with blue this time around also...

By now (almost 9 weeks later) he has lost all patience. I don't blame him.
He will try and play a little basketball but gets frustrated.
Thankfully, it was back to the Orthopedics today for his final X-ray.
Time to cut this sucker off:

The one bone looks great - Yay!
The other bone looks to me like someone who just broke their arm - what up Doc?
He said... it looks just fine.
I'm not sure if I want him to be 'just fine'.
Either way the cast is off and Luke is thrilled but nervous at the same time.
First order of business - A SHOWER! OhMyGod the filth of that arm!!
Time to regrow his strength and rebuild his confidence in his body.
He will be 'just fine'.
