Our first day of Summer...
We crawled out of bed at about 10am.
We ate piles of sourdough toast with vegemite for brunch.
Outside:
They played. I watered. Dad sorted the garage.
We went to the park and the batting cages
We dined at Mimi's for soup,salad and turkey dinner.
Inside:
They showered. I washed dirty baseball clothes. Dad sorted Luke's dresser.
We didn't want today to end.
It was late - nobody was heading off to bed...
[ Suddenly the office turned quiet. She kept going till the last minute. ]
