Flashback Friday

I do this on my personal blog and thought it would be fun (and yeah sometimes embarrassing) to post a Flashback Friday on my designing blog as well.  It's always interesting to dig thru your old photos or should I say .jpgs - 

One thing I notice with most designers (myself included) is we tend to be most-in-LOVE with whatever we are currently working on or creating.  I remember so much about this little outfit, one of my firsts.  I was crazy over this fabric but couldn't find it anywhere.  I had to be very smart with creating an entire outfit from 3 fat quarters... thank goodness she was a tiny little thing!

I took these pictures at a vacation spot in Mexico.  Everyone had gone into town and we stayed behind so she could take a nap.  I think I eventually woke her up a little early because I was going to lose the light and we were leaving the next morning.  I love the curled up little toes and those kissable lips!

  

p.s.  There was about 6 months at this age when I never got eye-contact.... EVER!
